“Where there is a will, there is a way” – a familiar and popular saying that was taught to me by my family before I entered high school in mainland China. Its meaning has been deeply marked in my heart by carrying and motivating me throughout the years of independent academic life, apart from my family, in Switzerland and in the United States.

I was born and raised in Guangzhou, China. I came from a family where I was raised with love, strong work ethics, and confidence. I left my homeland in my late teens to attend school in Switzerland and later to the United States. Ever since then, I have become a strong individual that believes and practices dedication in life.

I love to travel and experience different cultures. I enjoy my life to be filled with creativity and community. My educational experience includes a Bachelors of Science degree in Design, with an emphasis in Interior Architecture from the University of California at Davis. I am currently a graduate student at the University of Pennsylvania pursuing a Masters Degree in Architecture, and a Master of Science degree in Engineering – Integrated Product Design.
