LED Wall Scone 25
Simple yet modern are the main concepts for the Light Emitting Diode (LED) Wall Sconce. I felt that a small, simple and clean designed luminaire would clearly demonstrate the unique use of LED technology. Yet, sustainability was another major consideration driven behind this design.
The fixture is composed with two types of recyclable materials: aluminum and plastic. The perforated aluminum has been mechanically cut, manually bended and painted in white. Three LED modules are mounted on a highly reflective aluminum sheet serving as a heat sink. A sheet of frosted acrylic is inserted between the perforated aluminum shell and the LED modules as a diffuser. Finally, users are able to change the diffusers colors for different light affects. This fixture consumes approximately six watts of energy.
